Two Saturdays ago Andi’s fiancee had a seizure and had to be taken to the ER by ambulance. They did all kinds of tests on him and couldn’t find a reason for the seizure. They did a CAT scan and other stuff including blood work, urine test and had him on oxygen and a finger pulse oximeter.
The urine test was to see if he had a UTI or not and they were supposed to call him with the results… they never did. Then last Saturday he was peeing blood and stuff and went back to the ER. After many hours there they finally decided he did in fact have a UTI. He was given a script for Cipro and sent home.
If they had figured that out the week before then that UTI wouldn’t have gotten as bad as it did and could have been cured quickly. I swear that hospital is beginning to go down the tubes. Even though it’s only 5 minutes away I’m beginning to think if something happens I want to find a better hospital to go to even if I have to travel further to get there.

We went and picked up Andi and the baby yesterday. Andi decided she wanted to come back home to live. She was checking out taking courses online for nursing. One she checked out to do was for an Online masters program. It seemed like a very good course and they offer financial aid. It’s a Master of Science in Nursing course but she’d have to get her nursing degree 1st.
Gonzaga offers flexible scheduling with individualized degree plans and course patterns and tailored learning that includes research projects that are customized for specific organizational problems, expert instruction and it’s affordable. They offer competitive tuition and generous financial aid programs. Gonzaga is a regionally accredited university.
Andi will be applying at our local teaching hospital that will train her while she works and they have daycare for the baby. She has a real good shot at getting in since she was an Army Medic.
Andi’s boyfriend is still in PA but he will be coming to join her in a couple weeks.

…in the next couple months. Yesterday Andi’s paperwork, for her to get out of the Army, was on the colonel’s desk and she should have it back today. After she gets that back then she gets her orders to get out of the Army!! She’s pregnant and due at the end of August. I don’t know if her friends in Texas are going to throw her a baby shower before she leaves or not. If not we’ll have to plan one for after she get’s home.
She’s been slowly getting things here and there and a friend who had a baby a little while ago has been giving her things.
The other thing going on is our family reunion. It was supposed to be this weekend but my sister in law had to go in the hospital for lung surgery. She has cancer and has been having troubles with her lungs filling up with fluid and making it very hard for her to breathe. The reunion has been postponed until she’s feeling better.
