I took a real good look in the mirror the other day. What happened to that wrinkle free skin I used to have? This stress has really taken a toll on my skin and hair. I need to find some really good antiaging-products.net products.
To me I look a lot older than 56. My hair is getting grayer and thinner. My body aches with the change to cold temperatures and I’m cold all the time. I just wish there was a way to just turn back the clock a reverse these wrinkles and gray hairs!
I mentioned in my previous post that Andi went to Pennsylvania today. Yesterday she was sick as a dog and isn’t feeling a whole lot better today. She has a really bad cold and fever and is taking some over the counter stuff for it. She doesn’t have a health savings account or any other kind of insurance for herself so she’s self-medicating.
At least she doesn’t have to drive the entire trip.. just on the way back. Drew is driving up there. I hope she’s getting some rest on the drive up.
The temperature here in Southern NJ has been frigid! Our heater quit in the camper and we’ve been having to use 2 space heaters and a burner on the stove it’s going to cost about $150 or so to fix the heater. We don’t have the money for that so we have to improvise.
It’s been warm in here except the bedroom has been cold. The bed has a heated blanket.. well not exactly a blanket.. there is a pad under the mattress that heats up to keep you warm after you get into bed. It doesn’t heat up the bed like an electric blanket would so it’s quite chilly when you first get into bed. It’s not bad after you’re in there for a few minutes.
We have been having a Nor’easter for the past 3 days and it’s not done yet. It’s supposed to last into tomorrow. It’s been cold, rainy and windy and I have been hurting so bad. My tylenol arthritis just barely takes the edge off.
My neck, back, shoulders, hips and just about every other joint in my body has been aching. I feel like I’m getting a cold, I have a headache and not a real good appetite either. I sure don’t need to read about diet pill comparisons because I’m not eating much.
Living in this camper sure doesn’t help. I feel the cold and dampness all the way down to the bone. When the heater goes off it’s cold right away. I wear a sweatshirt with a hooded sweatshirt over top of it and I’m still cold. We have a space heater running and that helps a bit but that bone chilling cold is still firmly in place in my bones.
The only place where I’m nice and warm is in bed. The mattress has a heater in it and I plug it in at night and burrow underneath the 2 quilts and I’m warm. Then I wake up in the morning and the bone chilling starts all over again.
I can’t take very long showers because the hot water tank isn’t real big and the hot water doesn’t last too long. I barely have enough time to wash my hair, forget conditioner… no time for that, and wash my body and get out. I would love to stand there and let the hot water wash the cold and pain away but it runs out before I get the chance.
I think I’m going to go curl up in bed.. I’m tired… tired of being cold, tired of being in this camper, tired of not being able to find a job, tired of running out of money… Let’s just put it this way.. I’m just tired of it all.
It’s been raining here for days. We’ve had 2 nor’easters in a row. It’s been cold (only in the 40’s), windy and rainy. There are 2 skylights in this camper that are over the “dining area” (which consists of booth type deal which is a table and 2 bench seats) and they are leaking! I wonder if hubby has any type of home insurance on this camper.
I have my EBay stuff on that table and seats. My printer is also there. At least it’s just dripping and not coming through in a stream or I’d be really upset. Most of the EBay stuff won’t get ruined by getting wet because it’s a lot of china and things like that. No paper or clothing… yet. I keep going over there and wiping the drips off the skylights before they drop.
