Just a few tips for traveling by airplane…. Most airlines have a weight limit for baggage. Only pack what you absolutely need. Don’t put anything in your checked bags that can be broken or punctured. Andi found that out the hard way. She had a bottle of shampoo in her bag, not in a plastic bag, that got punctured and the shampoo got all over her clothes and her jewelry. That meant that as soon as she got here she had to wash her clothes and clean off her necklaces.
Always put any bottles of toiletries in a plastic zipper bag. If they are small bottles, under 4 oz, you can put them in your carry on in a zipper bag.
Always wear shoes that are easy to remove because you’ll have to take your shoes off when you go through security. Be sure to remove all change and keys from your pockets and take off your belt or you’ll set off the alarm at security.

Changing
This blog is changing. I change things about as often as I change from wearing pearls to wearing religious jewelry that my son and his wife gave me a couple Christmas’ ago.
I will be still doing some travel posts but mostly it will be news stories that I’ve read in the newspaper and things happening in here. As you see I’ve changed the title and tagline of this blog. I hope my readers will hang around and read more. I hope you all comment more too!
