This blog started out as a travel blog with posts about the fun things to do in Southern NJ. Then it went to a news type blog then and everything blog. I think I finally found it’s focus.
I won’t be doing hydroxycut reviews or anything like that here but I will be doing a lot whining, ranting and complaining here. I’ll gripe about the drivers, weather, prices and anything else that bugs the hell out me here so be prepared. It probably won’t be pretty.
I’ve already changed the title and tagline of this blog and I’m looking for a new theme for it too.
I have a lot of stuff that I need to get off my chest and this blog will be the dumping ground for all that emotion.. I hope you’re ready for it!

I had the burner turned on on the stove today. I forgot it was on and came real close to setting my clothes on fire. I think that when they mention belly fat burner they don’t mean to lean into the flame of a stove burner!
Luckily I felt the heat before anything burned. I didn’t even singe my robe. That would not have been a good thing. I just need to pay more attention when I’m in the kitchen. I don’t want to be banned from using the stove! hahaha

Reading the newspaper has gotten very depressing. All the stories about how bad the economy is and how bad the job market is makes it hard to do any job searches. There are not a lot of jobs listed in the classifieds. Those that are listed have requirements that I just can’t meet.. such as: bi-lingual, experience as a legal secretary, etc.
I have sent a couple resumes to places I found but haven’t heard anything yet. But then again I just sent them within the last couple days. I hope something pans out here soon.

I loved the opening ceremony of the Olympics last night. I was mesmerized by the special effects. I love just about every game in the Winter Olympics. I like it much more than the Summer Olympics. I wonder how many Canadians are there in person or are they like most of us and sitting at home watching on bell tv?
Right now ski jumping is being broadcast. I feel really bad about that luger that died yesterday. They have put a large wall up at that spot where he was killed so no one else goes over the wall and hits that big metal post.

My son, the pilot, got laid off last month. Things are really bad out there in the job market. But they are lucky.. Misty is a teacher and is still working. But she’s pregnant with their 2nd child. Hopefully no one will need to have to visit a Plano cosmetic dentist’s office any time soon.
Theo says they’ll be ok for awhile. I think they’ve been smart and have been putting money away for just this type of problem. I only wish we would have been able to do that too.
