I spend way too much time on the computer. I need to find another sort of hobby to do that maybe I can make some money doing. I know how to sew, crochet and knit. I used to make ceramics years ago but I think it’s time to try something new. I was thinking of getting some Beading Tools and maybe trying my hand at making some jewelry.
I could make some pretty necklaces, bracelets and earrings. Then I could sell them on EBay or something like that. There are so many types of pretty beads I could get and I bet I could make a nice chunk of change selling them. It doesn’t seem like it would be too hard to make jewelry with beads. The jewelry I make would also make some nice Christmas presents for family.
I’m going to check into how to make jewelry online. Yeah.. I know I said I need to find something to get me away from the computer but I do have to learn how to make jewelry before I sit down and start making stuff.. right?

I was checking my blog stats and I guess Summer must be horseback riding time. Most of the keywords searched for were for horseback riding, riding lessons and such.
There were searches for other things such as south jersey crabbing, south jersey dating & what part of 25 mph don’t you understand? (my favorite thing to say to other drivers!) lol.
Horseback riding in south jersey was the top phrase that was searched for since at least June so that is what makes me think that horseback riding must be the thing to do in the summer. I would have thought since we are so close to the beaches and boardwalk that there would have been more searches for those keywords but I don’t see any searches for either one. There is one search term that confuses me “fudgie wudgie florida”. What the heck is fudgie wudgie? lol

I keep telling hubby that he needs to sell the camper. We have so many bills to pay and if we didn’t have to worry about paying the rv financing we would be much better off. He says it’s only $215 a month but that would be $215 more a month that we could really use. I’m not sure just how much he still owes on it but I would love for him to sell it and pay it off and MAYBE have some left over for other things (like getting our furniture out of storage).
Don’t get me wrong that camper is nice to have but it rarely goes “camping”. It usually sits in his brother’s yard and we lived in it from September 09 until just last month. Frankly I could care less if I ever see the inside of that camper again.

My daughters fiancĂ©e is quite crafty. Over the winter we went up to Berlin Farmer’s Market where they have inside store that sell all kinds of stuff. We went into this one tobacco shop that sells all kinds of tobacco related items. They even sell empty Dutch Master cigar boxes.
Drew and Andi bought a couple of empty cigar boxes and Drew is making one of them into a little guitar for Benton. Benton loves to strum on Drew’s guitar and loves to hear him play it too. I took a video of Benton strumming away on a guitar that I have on my Facebook page. It’s so cute to watch him play it.
Those cigar boxes aren’t the cheap ones either. They got some nice wooden ones with some cool designs on them. They are nice enough to leave sitting out on a table or shelf for decoration too.

A few days before I moved in here Andi and Drew were moving their TV from the family room up to their bedroom. They sat it on the bed for a minute… it was in the middle of a queen sized bed… then the next thing they knew it crashed to the floor. It wasn’t even near the edge of the bed. It wouldn’t work at all after that.
Luckily my brother-in-law had some extra TVs in his garage and he gave them to Andi and Drew. One of them is now sitting in my living room. This one doesn’t have an on/off switch and has to be turned off and on by the plug in the wall. It would be nice to possible get an nice HDTV someday. I really love the flat panel ones because they hardly take up any room at all on an entertainment center or they can be put on a shelf or even hung on the wall.
Someday … someday.. one of these days my dreams will come true… but I’m not holding my breath!
