What resolutions have you made for the coming year?

Happy New Year everyone!

It’s been warm in here except the bedroom has been cold. The bed has a heated blanket.. well not exactly a blanket.. there is a pad under the mattress that heats up to keep you warm after you get into bed. It doesn’t heat up the bed like an electric blanket would so it’s quite chilly when you first get into bed. It’s not bad after you’re in there for a few minutes.

Hubby has been out plowing for basically over 24 hours and he’s still out. We had over 12 inches of snow by this morning. Now the sun is out but it’s still very cold and windy. With all the snow and stuff being tracked in here we’ll need to get a Ladybug vapor steam cleaner to get rid of the stains.

Hopefully hubby makes a lot of cash so maybe we can put a down payment/deposit on a place to live and get out of this camper!

I just can’t afford to go to those places. I have gone there once or twice and their coffees are quite tasty.. but WaWa coffee is very good too. I usually get French Vanilla or a Mocha. Sometimes I’ll get a hot chocolate and add the French Vanilla to it… it’s sooo yummy!!

I couldn’t go to Shoprite and get some stuff I need or to go and do laundry. I’ll be doing both of those things tomorrow. I’ll go do the laundry first thing then head to Shoprite and get my few things and head to the self-checkout and swipe them across the barcode scanner, pay for them and head on back to my phone booth happy home temporary living quarters.

The last time I did laundry I noticed that 2 of my 5 pair of jeans had holes in the butt. Now I can’t wear them anymore. I need to ask Santa to bring me some new ones for Christmas. Now I’ll need to do laundry more often or wear the jeans I have have for more than 1 day at a time (I hate doing that).

Did everyone also go out and stock up on fat burners to get rid of the extra weight from all that yummy food they ate over this Thanksgiving holiday? I’m pretty sure I saw some on sale!

So happy birthday Old Man and psssttt.. you better check those life insurance rate and make sure yours isn’t going to increase because you got another year older.

Oh and hows the head feel today? You celebrated early last night and into the wee hours of the morning today. You slept until after noon. Can I bang some pots and pans around and bring the grandkids over to hoot and holler? I know that would make you feel so much better! *insert evil grin here*. Yes.. I’m mean and you know you love it!

When I lived in the condo they put bumps in the road (speed bumps) on purpose. Are dips reverse speed bumps? Anyway.. the roads really need a major makeover. I remember when my kids were little there was this one road we always went down that had a large “bump” (I can’t think of another word for it) and every time we went over it the kids would laugh and call it a funny bump because it made their tummys feel funny. They have since flattened that bump in the road.

He came packaged very well in a Styrofoam box and works on either 2 AA batteries or an ac adapter. Hubby saw him sitting on the counter when he came home from work and was thrilled. Hubby loves trains. I can’t wait until Christmas to get him set up and can watch him every day. He is so gorgeous and he’ll be a part of my Christmas decorations for many years to come.

The snowman is part of the Thomas Kinkade collection and has a silver name plaque on the base that says “Thomas Kinkade White Christmas”. The village is hand painted and is covered in pretty, glittering snow and the detail is just amazing. The snowman is “wearing” mittens and a scarf and it holding a lantern.

It was easy to mold the nightguard to my mouth and teeth and it’s comfortable to wear at night. It did take a little getting used to since I’m not used to wearing something in my mouth at night.

I think I’ll keep using since I was told it’s quiet in the bedroom at night now so I guess it works. I do know my jaw and teeth don’t hurt quite as much in the morning now.
