We are in the middle of another nor’easter. This has got to be the 4th or 5th this season. It started out as the remnants of a tropical storm that came ashore around Florida/Alabama and formed into a nor’easter. The weatherman said this nor’easter is stronger than the tropical storm was. We’re getting high winds and rain and are expecting coastal flooding. I sure wouldn’t have wanted to be the people living in the Outer Banks rentals in North Carolina. I heard they were getting it bad, in the Carolinas, yesterday.
I didn’t hear anything from Kris, who lives in Myrtle Beach, so I guess he survived the storm ok.

It’s almost time to hit the grocery store again. We’re almost out of everything. Hubby gets paid every 2 weeks so that’s when I do my shopping. I usually go up and down every aisle to make sure I didn’t forget to put something on my list. I start at the produce aisle then continue up and down the aisles through the cereal, weight loss supplements, shampoo, detergent, pet food etc until I’m done.
I almost always use the self check out too. Some of the cashiers are so slow and like to talk too much so I’d just rather do it myself. I like to bag up my own groceries too. I have to make sure all of the cold stuff is together and make sure the eggs and bread are on the tops of any bags and not on the bottom. The only thing that bugs me is people who don’t quite grasp the concept of self check out and take forever. I hate when someone like that gets in front of me.

I’m watching Dr. Oz on TV. I watch it every morning and he always has a thing on fast weight loss. He has weight loss challenges going on. It’s an interesting show. Does anyone else watch it?
He has more than just weight loss. Some things are pretty gross so I wouldn’t watch it if you are squeamish. He shows different organs in the body and how they work. I think it’s very interesting. When I was little I wanted to be a nurse but as I got into high school my parents didn’t have the money to send me to college and I decided I wanted to get married and have kids. So that’s what I did.
