College or learning at home?

The economy has been bad and people are looking for ways to get a good paying job. They are furthering their education but a lot of times it’s hard for them to go to college full time so they are taking courses online and getting an online degree.

There are all kinds of courses that you can take online. For instance you can even get a teaching degree online. Western Governor’s University is a non-profit, completely online university and was founded in 1997 by 19 US governors to help working adults get access to quality higher education.

It’s nationally accredited by the Distance Education and Training Counsel who’s specialty is online colleges. Tuition is not based on credits. It’s a 6 month flat rate and is roughly about $3000 per term. Partial scholarships are offered too.

This would be a good choice for anyone looking to further their education without having to sit in a classroom all day long.
