Germany

When my daughter and her ex were stationed in Germany in the late 90’s/early 2000’s I went and visited them a couple times. I was able to do that because my oldest son was a pilot for a major airline. It only cost me $25 each way to fly to Frankfurt, Germany. Flying was definitely much quicker than taking European cruises. On one trip I had to take the train from Frankfurt to Schweinfurt and the countryside was just beautiful.

They were stationed in Schweinfurt, Germany. If you click on each of the 3 “Germany” in this post you’ll see 3 different pictures I took while I was there. The country is really beautiful and for some strange reason I felt at home there. There is a lot of German in my heritage, that’s probably why I felt so at home.
