I have a laptop whose hard drive quit. I don’t know if I should try and get it fixed, get a new hard drive or just send the laptop to a recycling center. When the laptop is turned on it tells me there is no hard drive detected so I am assuming the hard drive got fried somehow. Right now it’s in a drawer in the second bedroom collecting dust.
I know that Goodwill has a computer recycling program. I’ll look into that and decide what I want to do with it.
