Hannah watch

People along the southern US coast are anxiously watching Hannah. Hannah could hit the southeastern coast tomorrow. Hannah could strengthen into a hurricane before hitting land. It’s about 600 miles off the South Carolina coast right now and could hit land between South and North Carolina on Friday night. My son lives in Myrtle Beach, which is right in the path of Hannah. I sure hope he has his Rimowa luggage packed and ready to go in case of evacuation.

The storm is then supposed to make it way up to NJ and cause high winds and heavy rains on Saturday. Tomorrow morning, on my way to work, I’ll make sure to buy my essentials so I won’t need to go out anywhere on Saturday.

Then we have Hurricane Ike following on Hannah’s heels. We don’t know if Ike will make it up this far.. it’s still too early to tell but I’ll be watching that one too.
