Cell phones = ticket

If you’re traveling through New Jersey this summer season put down your cell phones. New Jersey is handing out $130 tickets for talking on your cell phones while driving. I have a headset for my phone so I can get away with it. You are allowed to use your cell phone while driving only if you have a hands free device such as a Bluetooth headset. Mine isn’t Bluetooth but I’d love to have one.. my phone isn’t Bluetooth compatible. My next one will be though.

Hubby found out the hard way not to talk on the cell and drive. He was on his way home from Florida and he called to let me know he was back in Jersey. As he was talking he said to me “He’s gonna pull me over” and told me he had to go. Sure enough he was given a ticket and we had to pay $130. He learned his lesson…. he calls when he’s stopped and not moving now.
