The beaches this weekend are dangerous. There have been rip currents because of Bertha out in the Atlantic. 2 people died yesterday in Wildwood and Atlantic City because of the rip currents and 1 is still missing. I sure hope their life insurance rates were up to date.
It’s really a shame.. these people went to the beach to relax and have some fun and will never see their families again. You would never think that when you go to the beach you’ll be taking your life in your hands. It just goes to show just how precious life can be. You never know when it will end.

Next weekend is our family reunion. I have to remember to tell the grandkids to bring their swimwear with them. Our family reunions are always a fun time. One year we had Christmas in July with presents and decorations. The neighbors thought we were nuts but we all had a blast. Last year was a Redneck theme and this year it’s a western theme. I’ll have to dust off my cowboy boots.
It’s always fun to go, the next morning, for breakfast and see who passed out where. There is always beer flowing and it’s funny to watch the drunks. Something hilarious always happens.

Travel can be stressful. Life is full of daily stress. Work is very stressful. What do you do to combat stress in your life? Some people go to a masseuse, I just hope they were trained at some good massage therapy schools. I like to take a nice hot shower, get in my jammies and chill out on the couch watching TV.
I try not to bring my stresses from work home with me but that doesn’t always work out that way. I like to play games on the computer to help relieve stress and sometimes I’ll blog about my stresses. You’ll see them mostly on my main blog Army Mom: New Jersey.

If you’re traveling through New Jersey this summer season put down your cell phones. New Jersey is handing out $130 tickets for talking on your cell phones while driving. I have a headset for my phone so I can get away with it. You are allowed to use your cell phone while driving only if you have a hands free device such as a Bluetooth headset. Mine isn’t Bluetooth but I’d love to have one.. my phone isn’t Bluetooth compatible. My next one will be though.
Hubby found out the hard way not to talk on the cell and drive. He was on his way home from Florida and he called to let me know he was back in Jersey. As he was talking he said to me “He’s gonna pull me over” and told me he had to go. Sure enough he was given a ticket and we had to pay $130. He learned his lesson…. he calls when he’s stopped and not moving now.
