You meet all kinds of people in airports. I’ve met soldiers either on their way home from or going to Iraq, computer analysts, market research assistants, nurses, doctors and I’ve even seen a celebrity or two. One time I met a man who lives and works in NJ, not too far from where I live, and he knew people I knew. Now this doesn’t really sound all that strange except for the fact that we were sitting in the airport in Dallas, TX at the time.
I was there waiting to come home from my oldest son’s wedding and the man was coming home from visiting relatives. This just proves the old saying that it’s a small world.
Have you had anything like this happen to you when you were away from home?

Yep, one visit to New York City, standing in Rockefeller Plaza, we were met by the Clerk of Court and his wife from my hometown in Louisiana, up to see the sights. Small world indeed.
