Auto safety kits

» by User Imagecharlotte in: travel

Everyone should have an auto safety kit in their car. Even if nothing ever happens to you someone else could need your help one day. You could come across an accident before the emergency vehicles get there or a friend needs a jump start for their battery.

A good kit contains: jumper cables, safety cutters for cutting a seatbelt in case of a crash (they do lock so someone may get trapped in a vehicle, in a crash, and be unable to get out), air compressor, flashlight, reflective triangles, gloves, rain coat, tools, duct tape, emergency whistle and first aid supplies. A GPS tracking device would be a good thing to have too.

Make your trip as safe as possible. If you come across an accident be sure to notify the authorities 1st, then try and help, if you can.
