It’s getting too expensive to drive! The other day I went past the gas station where I get gas and the gas was $3.17 a gallon. I didn’t get gas then because I didn’t really need it. Today I went to get gas and it was up to $3.27 a gallon! Soon I’ll have to sell some gold chains in order to fill up my tank.
Hubby’s truck is diesel and that costs over $4.00 a gallon. He’s thinking that when the truck is paid off, in a month or two, he’ll get a regular gasoline powered truck.
I don’t see any trips in our future any time soon with the gas prices the way they are now unless we go and buy a Harley and travel that way.

Wow, that is more than it is here in the Boston area. Mike paid $3.19 the other day. I’m just glad we have a car that gets decent mileage. Ours gets anywhere from 30-35 MPG, depending on traffic and all.
I’m sure you also remember the days when diesel was a lot cheaper than regular. I do, and it’s shocking as to how much more it is now.

I hear ya on the gas prices. It was $3.55 here this past week (Grand Rapids, MI area) and rumor has it that it will more than likely jump to $3.69 tomorrow morning.

The rising gas prices just make me sick. I remember when gas prices were under 50 cents!

No doubt the price of gasoline is going to change what people do for trips and vacations. Maybe some folks who live in Jersey will stay local and do day trips. Lots of stuff to do here.
Glad to find your site, by the way.
