Beach weather in Southern New Jersey is just around the corner. Soon the boardwalks and beaches will be crammed with “shoobies“. It’s time to get that home gym equipment dusted off and put into use to get yourself in shape for the bikini and short weather that’s coming soon.

I’m more of a backyard swimming pool kind of girl. I grew up here and have had my fill of sand and salt water. I don’t care for the beaches and salt water anymore although I do enjoy a walk on the beach after all the people have cleared out for the day. I’d also rather be out on the water (boat) than swimming in the water. Now if you take me to someplace where the water is crystal clear and I can see my feet when I’m in water up to my waist or higher I’d be a happy camper. I don’t like going into water where I can’t see my feet and what I might be about to step on.
