charlotteYeah, I know I already did a post on the Alamo but I forgot to mention their great gift shop. You can get so many neat things there like flags, spoons, knick knacks, baby gifts, t-shirts, sweat shirts, etc. I got a spoon from the Alamo and now my spoon case is filled. I have to get myself another one because I don’t have a spoon from each of the 50 states yet and that is my goal.
So if you ever go to the Alamo be sure to make a stop at their gift shop.

It is so cool that you have a spoon collection. I have never known anyone except my mom and my Grandma that had a spoon collection. You should show a picture per month or something of all your spoons. I love to look at my Mom’s collection. I am glad she has to dust it though.

Karen: That’s a great idea… but I have to clean them first. They’re in a cabinet with a glass front so they aren’t really dusty but they’ve tarnished a bit.

I can’t help it, I see the word “Alamo”, and my mind goes to Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure-”there’s no basement in the Alamo”!

Elizabeth: I never watched that movie. I never really cared for Pee-Wee after that bad story came out about him.
