Endless Caverns

» by User Imagecharlotte in: Uncategorized

Endless CavernsThe Endless Caverns are located in New Market, VA. It was discovered back in 1879 by 2 boys and their dog while they were rabbit hunting. We passed a large sign on the side of Massanutten Mountain for it on our trip to Texas. It overlooks the Shenandoah Valley. We didn’t stop for a tour, but we have been through the Luray Caverns in Virginia a number of years ago. The temperatures in these caverns average 55 degrees all year around. So if you visit be sure to dress warm. If you’re pregnant, please step carefully as the cavern floors can be slippery and be sure to wear some warm maternity clothing.

The caverns are beautiful and there are plenty of photo ops to be found.
