Charlotte, North Carolina

» by User Imagecharlotte in: Uncategorized

I’m going to expand my blog to include other states. The first on my list is North Carolina. It’s a very pretty state with lots of thing to see and do. I’ve been to Charlotte… It’s fitting since my first name is Charlotte! I’ve been to the NASCAR race at Charlotte Motor Speedway (before the name was changed to Lowe’s Motor Speedway).

Paramount’s Carowinds Water and Theme Park is a 105 acre water and theme park.

Charlotte Nature Museum is a child-oriented nature museum that features numerous hands-on exhibits that relate to natural history, as well as a live animal room, a puppet theatre, and a scenic nature trail.

Historic Rosedale Plantation was once part of a 911 acre plantation, this magnificent manor house is one of the best examples of Federalist architecture in North Carolina and is a National Register Landmark. The house has been beautifully restored to its original character with three of the rooms featuring the French wallpaper that was used when the house was built. The house is also surrounded by eight acres of beautiful gardens and grounds.

There are theaters, museums and more for you to do. You can even find a charlotte cosmetic dentist if you happen to need one.
