Does anyone have a place they’d like to see here? It doesn’t have to be in Southern NJ. It can be anywhere in NJ. I’ll even consider posting about places around the US. Please help me out and take my poll!

I remember going to Adventure Village when I was much younger. My mom would take my friends and me there a couple times a year. It was a Wild West attraction where cowboys would have gunfights in the streets.
There were wooden buildings in the old west style. There was a hotel, a town hall, a blacksmith shop, a shoe repair shop, a general store and, a saloon too. There was a movie theater where we could watch old-time movies. We could see how the cowboys lived and we could buy souvenirs at the general store. There was also a mining place to find Cape May diamonds. There was also a fun house, which I didn’t like. At the time I was terrified of the dark.
Adventure Village was located in Egg Harbor Township 1959 – 1969. Supposedly it’s still there and people are living in the buildings, at least they were as of last year.

For the racing enthusiasts that read my blog here are some places to go to watch racing.
Drag racing: Atco Raceway – Hubby and I used to go quite often. It’s located in Atco, NJ.
Old Bridge Township Raceway: Located in Old Bridge
Modifieds: Bridgeport Speedway – located in Bridgeport, NJ.
New Egypt Speedway: 1/2 mile clay oval located in New Egypt, NJ.
Wall Township Speedway – located in Wall Township, NJ.
